Welcome to the Online Food Safety Supervisor Course, the fastest and most time efficient way to satisfy the NSW Food Authority requirements for Food Safety Supervisor Training.

The provision of safe food to patrons of our Restaurants, Clubs and Quick Service Restaurants is our highest priority. Currently, approximately 36% of food borne illness cases are linked to commercial food premises. In March 2009, the NSW Government announced the introduction of Food Safety Supervisor training to all food premises in the State. This Food Safety Supervisor will be responsible for implementing safe food handling on that premise, including training all staff on how to properly store, prepare and handle food. Similar legislation is already enacted in Queensland and Victoria.

This online version of the Food Safety Supervisor course is designed for those actively working in a Food Service Business. If you are not currently working in a Food Service Business, you will be required to participate in the 1-Day Classroom version of the course in order to satisfy the Assessment requirements for your Certificate. This module is designed to provide a structured approach to Food Safety training. By the end of this training, you will be able to:

• Apply personal hygiene and sanitation principles;
• Identify a food safety program;
• Store and handle food products hygienically;
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment;
• Monitor Food Safety; and
• Contribute to continuous improvement.

The Food Safety Supervisor online module is simple and easy to use. It provides you with a study guide (which can be downloaded and is yours to keep) and then you complete a simple multiple choice quiz to earn you certificate. The course can be completed all at once, or logout and come back later to complete it at your leisure. The whole package, covering the three (3) required units of competency, including your Study Guide, Online Quiz, Statement of Attainment and your official Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (issued on behalf of the NSW Food Safety Authority), is yours for only $250.00 - no extra charges, no certificate fees, no individual fees per unit... just one simple price that will satisfy all your Food Safety Supervisor requirements.
